Mini Me-Favorite Travel Goodies

Who doesn’t love those little miniture products?! They are great for travel and so darn cute. Here are a few of my favorite “minis” (all under 3 oz).

Ultra Calming Cleanser-Dermalogica

Great for calming irritated skin and hydrating (making it perfect for travel).

Moroccan Oil

Perfect if you are traveling to a humid climate this summer, I use it everyday regardless of the weather.

Evian Facial Water Spray

Great to stay hydrated all day long, refreshing and great for airline travel.

Milagro Tequila Silver

How cute is this bottle, I’m just saying. May not be a beauty item but it is perfect for travel!

Now all you need is a great bag to put it all in:

Also great for travel:

Donna Karen Deodorant

Hand Sanitizer

Facial Wipes

Molecular Mist

Me and spray toners, we go hand and hand. I have a new favorite, the Molecular Mist by Sircuit Cosmeceuticals, just in time for summer.

This product is powerfully moisture-boosting, using a combination of deeply hydrating and soothing/calming ingredients. They do without the preservatives, colors and fragrance and we love that. Can also be used as a light-weight moisturizer.

Use it after cleansing but also on top of make-up is great too. Check out this past post where I mention other uses for misting toners/sprays:

You just can’t help saying “ahhhhh” after a couple sprays of Molecular Mist. Check out the website below to read more about the toner and the rest of the line. The list of celebs who enjoy Sircuit is certainly impressive (Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman and Oprah to name a few).

Don’t ignore it!

The neck and décolleté (chest area) are often ignored when it comes to an at-home regimen. In fact, I have seen certain spa/skin care facilities only treat the face as well. We expose our neck and décolleté to the same elements we expose our facial skin to so make sure and do the following:

Cleanse. If you have a Clarisonic brush I suggest adding time for your neck and chest. Check out the link below for Clarisonic info:

Exfoliate and Treat. Treat the skin on your neck and décolleté as you would your face. Pull down each product when you treat.

Sun Protection. Have you ever seen a two-tone face and neck? Yep I bet you have, don’t let this happen to you. Make sure you protect both equally.

Avène Thermal Spring Water

Since I have a small obsession with misting hydrating skin care products on my skin, I am always on the lookout for a good one. I have a spray toner at my desk so I can mist throughout the day, cool myself off when it gets hot and I never get on a plane without a mini spritzer in my bag.

One of my new favorites is Avène Thermal Spring Water. The Avène skin care line from France is targeted for sensitive skin types. The key ingredient is the thermal spring water from France’s Cevennes Mountains and is considered a fountain of youth.

The Thermal Spring Water can be used in the following ways:

  • After cleansing
  • After shaving/after waxing
  • After exercise
  • During travel
  • Sunburn, burn
  • Diaper rash
  • To set makeup

Also great for:

  • Post surgery
  • Redness-prone skin / inflammation
  • Keratosis-prone, scaly skin
  • Eczema / atopic dermatitis
  • Allergic reactions / sensitive skin / irritation
  • Burning / stinging / itching / tingling
